Charles Alcock (617-495-7100) is Director of the Harvard-Smithsonian Center for Astrophysics, Director of the Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory, Director of the Harvard College Observatory, and Professor of Astronomy at Harvard University. Dr. Alcock is also the principal investigator for the Taiwan-America Occultation Survey.

Stephen Murray (617-495-7205) is Deputy Director for Science for the Harvard-Smithsonian Center for Astrophysics, and the Director of the Center for XRay Technology. Dr. Murray is the principal investigator for the Chandra X-ray Observatory High Resolution Camera, and also PI for the NASA Astrophysics Data System.

Maureen Connors (617-495-2540) is the Associate Director for Administration of the Harvard College Observatory with responsibility for the HCO budget, HCO contract and grant administration, and general day-to-day operations of the Observatory.  In addition to being the Chief Financial and Personnel Officer, Maureen is Lab Director and chief liaison for the HCO with the other departments and divisions of the Center for Astrophysics and with Harvard's FAS.

Amanda Preston (617-495-7321) is SAO’s Advancement Officer. She plans and implements programs to secure private support from individuals, foundations, and corporations for SAO/CfA projects.  She works with CfA scientists, researchers, and project to identify and approach potential contributors.  She also manages Congressional and VIP contacts and visits to the CfA, as well as other administrative assignments. Christine Crowley Christine Crowley (617-495-7103) is SAO's Fellowship Program Coordinator. She manages all administrative actions and details associated with fellowship awards at CfA. She also works closely with members of the CfA Postdoctoral Fellowship Selection Committee, the SAO Predoctoral Research Oversight Committee, and the Smithsonian Office of Research Training and Services. Naomi Coty (617-495-7102) is Administrator to the Director.  She handles the Director’s calendar, correspondence, and travel arrangements and manages the routine operations of the Director’s Office.  She also assists with grants, the management of the Director's Office budget, and other administrative assignments.

Howard Smith (617-496-2198; Room M-219 at 160 Concord) is a Senior Astrophysicist and a special assistant to the Director, helping especially in communications with Washington on scientific matters.
