A Conjunction of Mars and Saturn

An hour after sunset on July 10, Mars and Saturn are within the same field of view of binoculars, and ­ in fact - are separated by barely more than the width of the Full Moon (here, the small inner circle in yellow). Regulus, the brightest star in Leo, is nearby, as are some Messier galaxies. (click image to enlarge)*
